Dear Members in Christ,

Calvary Miri BP Church 23^rd Thanksgiving Anniversary

We were blessed to travel to Miri to celebrate the 23^rd Thanksgiving Anniversary of the Miri BP Church on the last week of November. We thank God for raising this church and keeping it in the past two decades and three years. Truly, the Lord has done great things for this church. We rejoice with Sis. Marilyn and brethren, in remembering God’s faithfulness through these years. We see a growth in the number of children in this year’s anniversary, especially the families from Bkt Lambir and visitors from the neighbourhood. Also, we thank God for the family Bro. James and Sis. Imelda. By God’s grace they will be having an addition to their family in March next year. Below is a note of thanks from Sis. Marilyn Nanta, missionary in Miri, for God’s faithfulness in providing for and watching over this mission.

On behalf of Calvary Miri BPC, I would like to thank the Lord for your faithfulness to support us at Miri both spiritual, physical and financial.

"The Lord has done great things for us" (Ps 126:2)

On this our occasion of our 23rd anniversary Calvary Miri BPC, we want to thank the Lord for His faithfulness these past many years. Today, we gather not only to celebrate 23 years of fellowship and service but to look ahead to what God has in store for us. We have been so blessed with such a rich history and the journey continues. Thanks God for our mother church, Calvary Jaya BPF Kuala Lumpur for their labour of love, had been many years supported us

both spiritual through prayers, physical and financial. Not forget too other brethren from other churches like Calvary Pandan BPC, who has been for many years helping us to conduct our annual Vacation Bible School. Remembering also brethren of Kuching BPC and Calvary BPC, Pontianak Indonesia. To God be the glory.

We do covet your prayers, please pray with us and for us.

1. Thank God for this 23rd Church Anniversary, for keeping and guiding us. Remember to pray for our well-being, for both spiritual and physical health.

2. Thank God for giving us new outreach at Bukit Lambir. At the beginning we only had 2 children. Thank God for answered prayers. Now we have 10 children. They come to church both morning & evening on the Lord's Day. Please pray for the salvation of the children and parents of Bukit Lambir.

3. Pray for God’s blessing and upon the church and as well our church members so that we might be faithful to God in our serve for Him. Pray that God will grow the church in Miri.

4. Pray for church planning, 2025, and for the young people in our church to answer God's calling to go into full time ministry and to prepare to study at FEBC.

This year, we were also blessed by the presence of sisters from Singapore who were able to join us for this anniversary celebration. Following the Lord’s Day worship there was a home fellowship on Monday evening, attended by friends and members of the church. On Tuesday afternoon, Sister Sandra held a bible study to encourage the ladies of the church. We thank God for their service and contribution. Please pray for mission-minded members from Calvary-Jaya to visit and support the work in Miri. May God be glorified. Amen.
